A professional educator for over twenty years, Lynda M. Rogers, Ed.D. is Dean of UCSC Extension. Rogers was promoted to Dean in 2010, and is responsible for the quality, fiscal sustainability, marketing, courses, certificate programs, and instructors. Rogers has lead UCSC Extension in developing partnerships and market position that have increased enrollments and revenue.
Prior to her position as Dean, Rogers served as Assistant Vice Provost of University Extension, Assistant Vice Provost of Silicon Valley Initiatives and Executive Director University of California Online Academy. Prior to UCSC, Dean Rogers was the Director of Science and Technology for the Santa Cruz County Office of Education, a science educator and consultant for the California Department of Education.
Dean Rogers received her Ed.D in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne. She holds an M.A. in Educational Administration from San Jose State University, B.A. in Literature with a Biology Minor from UC Santa Cruz, and California Professional Clear Teaching Credential.
Lynda is active with the local community. She currently serves on the Mission City Communicty Fund and Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is a member of the San Jose Rotary Club. She is married and lives with two Havana Brown cats.
